The District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors who serve four-year terms. Election Procedures and questoins can be answered by visiting the Calaveras County Election website. On this website, you will find the election procedure and applicable deadlines.

The Board meets on the second Thursday of each month. Meetings begin at 10:00 am in the District office located at 15 Ernest Street, Suite A in Murphys, CA. The Board members receive a $100 stipend per regular board meeting. A member may elect to waive any or all payments. 

The primary responsibilities of the Board shall be the formulation and evaluation of District policy as well as legal and fiduciary oversite of the district and its mission.

Vision Statement

The Board of Directors seeks to create an environment that promotes respect and communication throughout the district and are effectively helpful to the Community. The Board will:

·         Meet the needs of our community by providing efficient and cost-effective service

·         Comply with County, State and Federal Regulation

·         Cooperate with other districts and agencies to best serve our community

·         Obtain and implement best practices

·         Set a standard of excellence for public agencies
